Here's The Best PROFILE-Type To Do Business With

None of us has got time to mess around... particularly not with people who waste our time and money while we are trying to DO good business.

So, when business networking, how do you seperate the few great business entrepreneurs from the multitude of also-rans?

The secret lies in identifying their PASSION for their business and products/services.

So, for me to do business with YOU... here's the question I am going to be asking in the back of mind (and probably even openly) - '..how passionate is this person about their business'? How PASSIONATE are YOU about YOUR business?

This week on our INNER Circle Forum website we revisit Jim Collins' fantastic work 'Good To Great'.

Jim provides 3 Circles of business attitude or analysis that intersect to profile YOU apart from the rest.

Circle 1. 'What is it that you can be the best in the world at?' - especially in your business.

Circle 2. 'What drives your economic engine?' What best generates cash flow & profitability?

Circle 3. 'What you are deeply passionate about?' - How does this reflect in your business?

This neat image appears on Jim Collins' site:

I want to DO business with people who are PASSIONATE about their business, products and services... and who want to grow their business through quality networking, sharing their passion and opportunities by entering into mutually-beneficial Joint Ventures & Strategic Alliances.

My many years of business networking experience have shown that those who are not excited about their businesses, have nothing much to share (deliberately keeping their knowledge, insights and input to themselves) ... and are generally a drain on the mental reserves, passion and excitement of others.

PASSIONATE business-people who want to SHARE their knowledge and input are the best business profile to DO good business with!

Is This The BIGGEST Fear In Business?

Through our many INNER Circle Business Forum - www.innercircleforum.com - HOST-facilitated meetings, we are able to dipstick-survey 1000's of positive, passionate business operators. Here's our interesting observation:

Over 95% of Business Owners, Directors & Decision-Makers asked actually 'HATE' prospecting or cold-calling. They will do almost anything to avoid it.

Is this a valid observation?

Should we be addressing the importance of PROSPECTING for business leads?

For me, PROSPECTING is the life-blood of any business. All business begins with the process of generating LEADS... as per this typical formula for business success below.

Leads X Conversion Rate = Customers X No. of Transactions X Ave. Sale Value = Turnover X Margins = Profit

Zig Ziglar, who wrote 'The Ultimate Handbook for the Complete Sales Professional - Ziglar On Selling', writes:

'Prospecting is the most important key to sales success! Without prospects you are stillborn as a sales professional - dead before you get started.'

'There's no denying that ACTIVITY (making contacts and calls) in the world of sales is critical.'

I agree.

Here's an upbeat article link that is worth reading - 48 Hours with the King of Cold Calls - original article on this link: http://www.inc.com/magazine/19910601/4660.html

2007 - Year For Exceptional GROWTH

Welcome back to all INNER Circle Business Forum Members... trust that you all had a great Christmas & New Year break with your family and friends and are gearing up for a fantastic business year in 2007.

Our INNER Circle plans are simple... 2006 was a great year for learning what works and what doesn't work in our field of business networking. I personally met with over 5000 decision-makers in business last year - through INNER Circle meetings and various talks that I conducted - approx. 1400 of whom have opted-in to receive weekly feedback on what we do. All making for substantial 'dip-stick survey' input and experience gained, which I will share on this blog.

In 2007 we plan to action an 'Economics of Abundance' model to attract MORE Business Owners, Directors & Decision-Makers to network on our forum.

We're looking at more and more simple ways to share, facilitate and enter into more and more JV's and Strategic Alliances with more and more like-minded, PASSIONATE business entrepreneurs/execs who want to build their Virtual Business Networks (VBN's, VEN's, et al) for future profit.

We'll be turning our business model on its head to grow bigger - so watch this space.

Take a look at this very interesting video of Seth Godin talking to the Google team about what they do well and what they need to do to stay in business. You will get the clues to what we're applying to INNER Circle's expansion in 2007.

I also need YOUR help on our research into our Affiliate Marketing INVESTIGATION, please visit this link: Chronicles of an Affiliate Marketing Beginner - and click on a couple of links that may interest you. The more the better. We're interested in seeing the effect and how we can trace & follow the traffic. Will really appreciate your help.
